If you are a non-design/art student and are having problems designing and formatting your poster or you don’t want to design it yourself, contact FAD three weeks prior to when you need the poster. We can design it, make it look like you are a frigg’n genius and have it ready when you need it.
When a student designs their own poster, FAD ONLY accepts Adobe Acrobat .pdf files for Large and Medium format Inkjet printing. When submitting a.pdf file, check to confirm the size of the .pdf matches the requested print size. Print Monitors will reject any .pdf that is not sized to match the print request.
Files larger than 50MB may or may not submit using the online form. Please process the .pdf so that the file size is as small as possible (check your .pdf settings before “Save As”, or “Export pdf”). If you are having difficulty submitting a large .pdf file, please submit the online form without the pdf upload and bring your file on a labeled flash drive to OP1111 during a scheduled work time.
OP Output does not accept Microsoft Word, Works, Excel, Paint or Powerpoint files.

EPSON 7890 Photo-quality roll-feed printer (24 inches wide)
These printers offer the best in color gamut and color stability/longevity. Both are RGB printers, so, set up your .pdf in RGB color mode for best color accuracy.

Hewlett-Packard T220 roll-feed AND sheet-fed printer (24 inches wide)
This is the most cost effective printer in FAD. It prints roll-fed Luster paper, but can also handle sheets of inkjet compatible specialty and plain papers – text weight and heavier stock like Bistol board up to 24 x 36 inches. The T120 is a CMYK printer. Set up your .pdf in CMYK color mode for best color accuracy.
When requesting plain or specialty paper sheet-fed printing, please bring to FAD the paper(s) you want printed. FAD does not provide sheet paper.
