Design Services
If you are a student, faculty member or student organization at Truman needing design work, Fine Arts Design can help. FAD is staffed by BFA: Design students working their creative magic on your behalf. Each student designer is hand picked by the Design faculty and have demonstrated their abilities in design and illustration and have shown they are capable in managing projects and hitting deadlines. Everything you need for your design project.
We love turn-and-burn projects, so if you are in a time crunch, send us your design problem and we can creatively solve it for you.
FAD designers are capable of creating designs for Print, Web and Short Animation projects – Posters, Ads, Pamphlets, Brochures, Postcards, Web Graphics, (static and animated), Web Pages, and Websites.
FAD designers work only four hours per week and can have multiple projects flowing concurrently, so their time on task is tight. Please be considerate and have your project thought-out and well-organized when working with FAD.
Students hanging posters on campus
For students wanting to hang posters on campus for student related/sponsored events, the posters are required to be approved by the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) office. The posters (all copies) will either be stamped physically after printing OR a CSI logo can be added to the poster design before printing (added by the designers at University Publications in Kirk Building – FAD will send the digital files to Publications to add the CSI logo).
If/when approved, the posters are printed (if logo added to the design) or are stamped (all printed copies) before they can be placed around campus in the various university buildings. FAD does not provide the service of obtaining CSI approval. This is the student group’s responsibility.
